Has anyone pin striped their Camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has anyone pin striped their Camaro. As "back in the day"; along the top sides of the front fenders and rear quarters. If so, please post photos.

Ya, I know...you can hold the comments about padded landau tops and vinyl roofs.

I have seen one locally. If your pinstriper knows what he is doing, it can look awesome. I don't have a photo unfortunately but I loved it.

There was one at a dealer here amd I'm a fan of pinstriping. Had in mind to do myself, but the body lines on this car overpower any pinstriping. Typically pinstriping tries to outline the car's lines, but the style of these cars need no definition. The pinstripes, in my opinion, did'nt look good on this car. It was a black with a faded white or silver pinstripe.

I did it and it looks Great IMO! It accents the lines of the car.

I was thinking about pinstriping mine (my husband did my 85 Camaro and it looked very cool) when I get it, but I'm not sure.

I have pinstripes on mine, the Camaro came with them. I dont know if the dealer put them on or it came that way. In any case, at first I didnt really like them, by the end of the day I loved them, I will post pics later.

I have been kicking the idea of pin strip also, just hav'nt seen any to make up my mind.
