Hurst Automatic shifter

Somebody, anybody lol. Does anyone know what size screw I can use for the Hurst automatic shifter? I purchased one from a seller on here and my stock screw does not fit. I tried one from my local parts store but it keeps coming loose. I can't find anything online with the size of it or where to get an adequate replacement. If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful!

Take the part, not screw, to Home Depot, Lowes, etc. They can check the threads and determine the thread count and diameter. They may or may not have the screw you need but you will have the size needed. I worked at HD for years and we did this all the time. A person who has worked in hardware at one of these store for several years can get pretty close just by looking.
Good Luck

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried Home Depot and the gentleman that helped me couldn't match it up. Maybe I need to try a different Home Depot...

My friend installed a Hurst shifter and he used 1/4"-20.
