GM approved jack/lift points and technique

I would be interested to know the proper, exact Chevy approved technique to lift our cars. There are some great posts

on this forum about this but my dealer is not using the jack pads/pucks.

This question needs to be restructured but I think might be interesting ie I think many ownrers, dealers and shops may be doing it wrong and rsking damage to their Camaros.

Lifting the car in your garage and putting on jack stands is definitely a PITA. It minimally requires special jack adapters and stand adapters of some sort for the pinch weld. I’m not sure asking Al will “fix” the PITA we all are left dealing with.

not looking for a fix

as much as I want to know I am doing it right. I am sure the right way willl be a PITA. I don't want my car damaged. So not a complaint to Al but a serious issue important to all Camaro owners, might save a few people some serious trouble. Also a lighter question for Al and the team.

I also think the question about add ons and warranty is very interesting.

Even more challenging to lift a convertible because the braces bolt on next to some of the defined pinch weld lift points.
