I like the stealthy "jet fighter" looking overall theme of the C7, including the tailights/rear end. It's a pretty daring design, that has incredible "presence".

Round tailights don't fit the theme, imo. To each his own.

Some of the Corvette 'traditionalists' need to get over their hate for the new square shaped lights. Time moves on, so do car designs.

I personally love how the angled square lights look. It gives the rear a modern look that round lights can't.

We can revel in what we admire, as others will wallow in disdain. Let them suffer in their discord until there is no room for it. Maybe then they will see, what we have seen.

When the C6 debuted everyone complained about the lack of pop-up headlights. GM's answer? They'll get over it.

Same story here.

But hey, if you want your Corvette's rear end to have the quality tolerances of a Toyota Corolla, go for it.

I guess you could call them trapezoidal instead of square. I also think it modernizes the Corvettes look while maintaining the 4 tail light tradition.

Agreed. I like the taillights, too much of the same thing and you end up with a 911 :yuck:

Look how nicely the angled square lights match the angle of the Corvette Flags, which then both match the angle of the diffuser framing the exhaust pipes

Attention to Detail.

Look at the CORVETTE insignia... slanted, italicized... goes with the flow...

I can't pay attention to detail since I'm too busy drooling over the whole thing
