I thought I'd start a thread where members can post up ideas and suggestions for meets/car shows/ here.

Please include::

What is the meet/car show?
Time..
Place..
And any extra info..

A couple of ideas I've had didn't really have anything to do with a car show. Some of the things can just be outings that include our families. We have a Classic Car Museum in Sarasota that would be a nice drive. The admission fee I believe is $10 each with group rate available. Also we have the Holidays coming up with Christmas Parades. We have been contacted to do the Pinellas Park night parade sometime in December. We will be getting more info on this in September and will post about it. It would be nice if we could also do a parade in the Tampa area as well. Another thought might be to take a drive up towards Crystal River area during the Fall and see the leaves changing ...

We're all car guys and gals. How about a road trip to the Big Daddy Don Garlits Museum up by Ocala. Or a race day Down at Bradenton Motorsports in Bradenton or a Wednesday night at Sunshine Speedway.

Big Daddy Don Garlits Museum lol i dont think that place has changed the last 6 times ive been there but love it everytime.

We should do old town in Orlando! They have car shows there every other Saturday night. I heard it's alot of fun! I've even heard car clubs go out there so maybe we could bring some competition

I would contact them, their Sat. night car show is supposed to be 74 and older vehicles. But they do have special interest nights and some car clubs have their show night. I think Fri. nights they do a newer car show. Always a fun place to go, they have the rides and stuff for the kiddos.

Both the Sarasota and Don Garlits Museums sound good to me! But I'm also with Slingshot any excuse to drive the car is good to me LOL!!

An idea for November is the Turkey Rod Run over in Daytona we went over last year with our 69 Galaxie and the Camaro, and it is a huge car show! It goes from Thanksgiving day till that Sunday I believe.

I like any of those ideas. There is also Muscle Car City in Punta Gorda with every single year of GM performance cars on display...
