1.56 and still leaving soft. I also play with spring rubbers to stiffen the rear even more. I'll put them in later today and take a picture for you guys. But the IRS definitely does not like squat. Squat means loosing time going forward...... To an extent..
1.56 sixty is nothing to sneeze at.

With 1" BMR lowering springs and trailing arms, I would always have a .1 to .15 slower 60' with full traction than the guys with stock springs. Stock springs are yeilding 1.5x 60'. Sounds like others have experienced different than I.

I'll defer to Jordan for sure.

That's about as good as it gets for stock suspension which is damn good IMO.

Making the Strange order Monday morning for the 4.57 2nd gear set. Wondering what Pumpkin will 60 foot this fall with the new set up? Just had to clarify a few things with Frank from DSS as Strange recommended that I run the bolt through forged case rather the light weight case one.

seeing a lot of mixed reviews. Maybe can say it affects some, but not noticeable enough where as weather and launch technique could be the factor?

So safe to say that If i were to drop 1", it more than likely wouldn't help or hurt my times more than say tire psi, weather, technique, and/or track prep basically.

Where you've got an automatic, I don't think you would see a big loss, if any. If Jordan is right (and I see no reason to doubt him based on his track record) it sounds like they may help.

Eibach's are close to 1.5" drop for the rear, I think Hotchks and Pfadt were both 1.75" drops. Maybe BMR?

My car is still 100% stock shocks and springs. The only thing i had modded in the susp was BMR bushings, trail arms and DSS axels. on 17s my car would average a 1.38-.39

since then i added the carlyle 15" kit and cut a coil off the stock springs. first pass off the trailer leaving soft the car went 1.35 sixty.

Did you ever try the 1.4 drop springs to see if it helped or hurt the 60 foot times. Thanks jerry davis
