ARH 1 7/8 Headers with Long system install

I am installing the ARH 1 7/8 Headers with the long system on my 2018 ZL1 1LE. I searched the forum but did not find what I am looking for.

Where do I cut the pipe at to hook the long system into the Factor Muffler? I know I cut it after the smashed part of the pipe but what do I measure on and what is the measurement?

The install should tell you, it is around 6"-12" before the muffler where you cut.

The picture they sent says measure 11.5 inches and cut but I cannot tell from the pucture where to measure the 11.5 inches from.

If you are unsure then just cut the pipe in the back extra long just to be safe, start to install the system and see where it lines up to.

mine came with no instructions.
what I did is put the new on top of the old and lined up the rear hangers. mark the old and cut. on mine it was 13" from the rear hangers to the cut. it gives you quite a bit of leeway. to make sure the tips are equal look at your hangers. there will be a polished line on the rear hangers. just move the muffler to were it was befor.
