Obviously Opel's no longer a GM brand, but GM still builds this car as a Buick in China, and we no longer have a compact Buick in North America, and taking in mind current trends, a hatchback is kinda like a small crossover...

Not at all. Just suggesting it. If GM thinks they can market a station wagon as a crossover, maybe they can pull off the same with a hatchback.

Well ... they are more or less pretending that the hatchback Bolt is a crossover.

Speaking of Bolt...
There is zero information about the 2018 model. I believe at this point, the order guides for every other GM product is available. Curious to see what GM has cooking for it.

According to the program code, oddly enough it's E2XX (Malibu, Regal Sportback/Insignia Grand Sport/ZB Commodore).

Speaking of the Equinox, back with that strike at CAMI ... since its the secondary plant for building them (the other is in Mexico ... which is a big part of why the workers are striking), GM can probably wait things out for quite a while.

In my experience, the trucks made in Mexico have more rattles and build quality issues than the American, and certainly more than the Canadian. I wished GM would build all their cars in Canada, they seem to be the only ones that care about the quality of their work.
