Tapatalk Issues

Anyone having issues with Tapatalk lately?

On the morning of 12/24 it was working just fine, getting notifications, etc.

Later in the day it stopped giving me notifications and I had to manually check each thread I was subscribed to, to see any new posts. I verified with a friend of mine and he was having the same issues. He is a member here as well and uses Tapatalk. His push notifications for Tapatalk to Tapatalk messaging worked but like me couldn't get any notifications about subscribed threads.

Is this a Tapatalk server issue or a Camaro5/6 vbulletin issue?

Mods or anything more tech savy than myself care to chime in?

And yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled Tapatalk. Logged out and logged back in. Restarted my phone. Checked on another persons phone running different OS.

It seems Tapatalk goes through spells where it works and then doesn't work. Been working fine for a long time since my last post.

Now it's been no good since this past. Wednesday.

Anyone else having issues?

And after I post this and over in Tapatalk forum it starts working again.

Any Mods able to Chime in on this?

Tapatalk for iOS and android is sporadic and/or not working lately, AGAIN. It will let us view the forums and reply but it's not updating the app or pushing notifications. In the past per Tapatalk support they seem to think it's a plugin issue here. Any advice?

I run another forum and tap-a-talk is a PITA. Especially with Android. I carry two Cell phones, Samsung and Apple and the apple always works and gets notifications. Wish I knew what the issue was but I mainly use a computer anyway. Push notifications are nice though and I almost never get them on my Android phone.

I've never gotten tapa-talk to link any subscriptions or followings in the actual app. I've emailed the tech guy for tapa-talk and he said he has sent emails to the admin to fix it. He says its possible that the admin needs to update the associated email address?

I just now saw this Mike. Guess I forgot to subscribe to my own thread. It finally resolved itself again it seems after about 2 weeks. I'm getting push notifications again. And sounds like it's the nature of the beast.

I don't know what it is, but tapa-talk dosent register any of your subscriptions in the app or the ones you make through a regular browser. The only thing that does work is ads

The subscriptions I make via the app or web browser sync up. Never had that problem.

When I do have issues with Tapatalk, about 2-3 times a year, it will stop doing push notifications and won't update my subscription tab. It can take anywhere from a day to couple weeks to resolve, then back to normal.
