BTW, for those wondering. Les took possession of his car last week, got a text this morning with some impressions and so far he's happy with it. Hopefully he'll chime in soon.

I look forward to doing a Spartan 6L80E build on that car soon so he can enjoy the power.

Well I had a kiss with death today!

Was on my way to work on my bike,I was traveling south on I85 between Beaver Ruin and Indian Trail around 6am when a car pulled out off the shoulder next to the HOT lane, and the mini van in front of me slammed on their brakes, almost hitting the car that pulled out.
I locked up my brakes and hit the van in the rear at near 70mph flipping me off the bike hitting the rear window and rolling up onto the top of the van then I rolled off the side into oncoming traffic!
First instinct was to look behind me and seen the traffic still coming and I rolled myself into the hot lane where traffic had stopped!
Survived with just some really sore muscles and bruises! No road rash thank god!

Damn Scott! Glad to hear you are okay. I witnessed a head on accident yesterday in Madison County. One person coded while waiting on life flight. Glad yours wasn't the same outcome

Your body will get even more soar over the next couple days, that's at least what happened to me, when I had a motorcycle accident a come years back. But hey, if that's the only problem, it's still a lucky outcome.
