Just turned 60 and always had low sitting cars along the way, so no change really for me getting in and out of this one. Starting that engine drops about 40 years though
I really love everything about this car. Missed the T-tops I had on my '95 Firebird and glad I got a convertible for the 2SS. |

This is my second Camaro, but I grew up with Firebirds/TransAms. Now I'm 50 and I believe you're only as old as you feel.

62 here.
Our '17 2SS makes Camaro number 4 I had a 1969 SS when we got married back in 1974. Traded that off for a brand new 1975 Type LT. Remember, back then the '69 was just an old used car. Should have known better. When I first saw the 5th Gen concept on the 2006 Hot Rod Power Tour, I knew we would have to have one. We ended up purchasing a 2011 2SS RS Convertible. Then when the 6th Gen came out, we traded the convertible off for a 2SS Coupe. So, we have been long time Camaro fans.

Bought my 1st car in '67. The Camaro and Firebird, being brand new were too hot to get a good deal. But if I had the funds I really would have purchased an SS396 or GTO. Had to settle for a LeMans with 327, 3 on the floor, didn't even have A/C or power steering.
Life went in a different direction. Then in the early 80's I built a '57 TBird replica, nothing really performance about it, but enjoyed both building and driving it for 10 yrs. But I sold it to help fund early retirement. Retired at 55 and now 69. So, last year I considered buying a classic. Decided I didn't really want to be a "caretaker" like my neighbor that drives his '57 TBird and E-Type around the block at 15 mph then back to the garage. I went looking for a used 5th Gen, that was until I saw the 6th Gen. The performance is outstanding and I really enjoy driving my 2016 V6. |

50 years on the planet so far, and five Camaros owned to date...1974, 1985, 1995, 2010 and now the '17 1LE.
All have been great cars and each has special memories associated with it. The Camaro platform is a fun one, returning excellent performance for the price point, and despite a myriad of other vehicles I've owned, I keep returning to it. I would say to all of you...stay young, enjoy life and never grow up. -David |

52 years old here. I'm super happy with my 2SS. What a great car. Power, handling, tech and a back seat for the kids. I've had alot of different cars over the years, but I'd say this is my favorite car of all time. Sure, there were cars that were better at very specific things, but the camaro seems to do it all.

heck i'm 27 and just bought a 2SS, it had to have the Magnetic Ride, well... because i'm an old soul and I like have a smooth comfy ride. Age is just a number, but with age comes experience that I wish I had! This is my 3ed camaro, first was my first love a 1994 z28 (I was 18), second was a 2014 LS2, and third is my current baby! I don't plan to upgrade for another 5 years, as I want to pay this off.

50 years old, been mainly a mustang guy and always for summer use. Have owned - 86 GT w / tops, 87 GTA (Pontiac), 88 GT, 93 GT, 04 GT, 06 G35 Coupe, 12 GT (current), 13 Golf R and 2016 1SS Convertible (current). I'm contemplating trading the GT in for a 1LE or trading the SS for a ZL1. Yep, I'm liking the Camaro ALOT.

57. Always like Camaro from my early days. 10 years old and loved to make plastic models. The 1970 Camaro was on of my favorites in blue. Fast forward many cars and stories later, I have a 2017 ZL1.
Thought about actually getting a 1970, but I am pretty sure the performance would disappoint. Not currently having that issue with 650 HP. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/attach...1&d=1500438855
