LED side markers on the LT?

Question: like how a resistor harness is required to get LED tail lights to work on the LT, is similar jerry-rigging needed for LED side markers?

It's plug and play for DD & AA LED Sidemarkers.

Tail lights aren't plug and play without the harness upgrade.

+1

Only the side markers, license plate lights and the trunk light are plug-and-play in terms of LED replacement. Resistors are needed for LED reverse lights and front turn signals. Rear turn signals are already LED on the RS/SS/ZL1 and require extra resistors with the non-RS models.

I'm experiencing more than just turn signal issues with mine: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524205

Hm, I haven't seen this before, but then I never attempted to connect LED taillights without the harness on my 2LT. Best to wait for it and try again.

Sorry your having issues with that it's happened to a lot of people. I'd go with the Gen5DIY harness they have great customer service and will answer and work with you if there's an issue til it's fixed. You might pay a tad more then other sites but they really do take care of you after install which is worth it.

Ordered it on Friday. Paid for expedited shipping. hopefully it gets here before a cop notices I don't have tail lights (unless I'm braking) and pulls me over...
