Colored LED footwell lighting

We have just finished installing a test sample of some colored LED footwell lighting we have developed with one of our suppliers. This particular sample is Red. The factory has a white LED. These are plug and play units and install in minutes. Any other color samples that you would suggest? We have to order in bulk and any input on color would be greatly appreciated.

I had red on my 2011 Mustang (which I sold to get the C7). That worked well because I had the selectable instrument lights set for red. On the C7 you do not have a prevailing color so it may not be as obvious on which color to chose. Having said that, I think they would be a cool thing to have.

I like the red. It goes with the Adrenaline Red interior.

I put red LED's in my footwells and white LED's in the overhead dome lights. The combination works real well for me.

All MINI Coopers come with "mood" lighting like that on the overhead console, behind the door handles, in the front storage area, etc. They have a switch in the overhead console that allows you to change between any one of a dozen colors, vary the brighness or have it cycle through all the colors. Maybe you could get a setup like that. The technology should be fairly simple and straightforward as MINIs have had this for years. -Bob
