Mine TX plates are $40 bucks a year for personalized through the DMV... no way I'm going with MyPlates and paying those prices...

and as MLEE did.....there are still plenty of plate choices you can get through the state that are only $40/yr.......go to this link....
https://rts.texasonline.state.tx.us/...d=40&pltid=170 and in the box in the upper left "QUICK LINKS" and any of the top three, "Colleges and Universities", "Organizations', or "Professional Sports Teams", you can get personalized and only cost $40/yr. There are roughly 60 different plate choices in those 3 catagories.

my plate is TG UR IT right now. I just want to add the A in there.... TAG UR IT.
But, I want to keep it the $40 a year. There's no way in hell I'm going to spend some $600 just for a license plate. Those people are freaking nuts! |

Yeah, I think it's lame that you have to pay that much up front, but I justified it by saying I'm really only paying $6.625 per month for the next 120 months
