Insurance
Just paid off the Camaro. Curious how many of you kept full coverage or went with PL/PD only.

All our vehicles are paid for and all have full coverage. Has already paid off on the Camaro when it got rear ended.

Congrats on paying off the Camaro
As far as insurance goes, I look at it like this, the day that last payment is made, the car moves from the liability column to the asset column. It's enough of an asset that I want to protect it. |

I paid mine off last year and I still have full coverage. The question you have to ask yourself is if you got in an accident in your Camaro today and it was your fault, could you replace it without putting financial strain on your life. If the answer is yes, then you could drop the extra coverage. However, with a clean driving record, for the minimal extra amount that it would cost for full coverage why not let the insurance company assume the extra risk?
