This ^ while mark ups will put it up there Ford knows where this car has to sit MSRP wise. They even mentioned it in their press release when they officially unveiled it. They said something along the lines of it being a mustang it must be attainable. |

I like that green they showed it in!
GT500 has always been a sweet car for its time. This continued competition should mean great things for the next gen Camaro and its higher performance trims. So...Can't wait to see what this means for Camaro7! 2022 can't get here fast enough! good thing time flies, I can't believe I've been a member here for 5 years.

Well, it's starting out less that I expected. I fully expected it to start right at $80k. $73,995 base.

Hopefully that $1,500 track pack add on is all that is needed to put this car in ZL1 1LE territory...otherwise you are looking at a nice rounded number of 100 grand to compete with the 1LE.

I don't think its touching a ZLE without the $18,500 track pack honestly, and even then im not a 100% convinced it will be faster.

Yeah I kind of doubt it will be as great on the track with the $1,500 package, but who knows? I bet it wouldn't be too far off.
But that $18,000 package with all the carbon fiber, CF wheels, updated brakes and suspension (I assume those are also added) it had better be able to keep up with a 1LE.

What is it: The 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye is a muscle car in the most glorious way. Essentially, the Redeye takes the now-pedestrian Hellcat to the next level by throwing even more horsepower at the problem. The problem, of course, is that there's never enough... Key Competitors: Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and anything next to you at a stoplight Base Price: $79,440 As-Tested Price: $82,026 Full review: Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, R/T and 1320 Highlights: Um, how about 797 hp, 707 lb-ft of torque and fender flares? Other than that, it’s the same Dodge Challenger you’ve come to know love over the past decade. Oh, and the Hellcat logo has a red eye. https://autoweek.com/article/car-rev...=hero-headline |
