You pay freight regardless of museum delivery or dealer delivery.

Hah! I remember when relatives would make the trip to Michigan to take delivery, the money saved on the destination fee defraying the cost of the trip. But those days are long gone.

I don't think you will save a couple of weeks taking Museum Delivery but you could save a few days. Corvettes do not travel by train, so once on the hauler they pretty much go straight to the dealer. No sitting in a railyard waiting for the right train or waiting for a hauler to taake it from the railyard to the dealer. But every report of Museum Delivery indicates it is well worth the effort.

Just remember you'll have to drive the car back to Florida from Kentucky.

Heard a rumor it may slow you getting it. To many people picking that option and only so many can be deliveried in a day. Just a rumor I was told.

Rumors of delays due to Museum Delivery may be just that. I'm taking Museum Delivery, and mine is now tentatively scheduled for production first week of July, as of today, so a delay appears unlikely.

It won't speed it up either, as all new cars will be held for a couple weeks as part of the QC process.

I'm also taking museum delivery but am looking forward to the road trip back to Arizona, so not concerned about delay. I'm #18 on my local dealer's list. Will be well worth the wait & can check that trip off my bucket list. Just wish they had the Bowling Green track built to orient myself first to all driving options under speed conditions but that's not scheduled to open till Labor Day 2014 or thereabouts.

No more rumors please. If you want facts about Museum Delivery, go the NCM's web site and look up Museum Delivery pages. Or, call the NCM Delivery Manager Lori at: 1.800.53.VETTE. Enjoyed working with her for seven ears and she is excellent, honest and a straight shooter.
