I'm really surprised that I've read nothing about this on these boards:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crim...icle-1.2673201 The memes that can be found on the internet for this guy are just delightful

On that note, does anyone know where/how to sell a BB gun? I've got one of those Winchester MP4 CO2 guns that just gathers dust in my closet.

If a person that does not like dogs because of a fear of them reads about a fatal dog attack- which has happened- and then decides to go get up close and personal to dogs to find out what this is all about and write an article about it, it could easily go something like this: What is it like to pet a Doberman? It's frightening, intimidating, and very very loud. It looked to me like a panther. And when I got near it its eyes burned my soul. After I had read about the mauling last week, I decided to visit a dog park to better understand how people could actually call such brutal killers as 'Dobermans' a pet, and, hopefully, gain an appreciation for this so-called 'man's best friend'. But mostly, I was terrified. I selected a large example of this ferocious breed and spoke to its owner, while being careful not to startle the beast. Its proximity to me- and the most easily bitten parts of my anatomy- was a shock in itself. The owner was Larry, and the dog's name was Sheba. Larry roughly rubbed the dog's flank, which has fur of a length that reminds me of a marine's crew-cut, and said "Don't worry, Sheba's a good girl. She loves people.". With this dubious reinforcement convincing me that all was well, I reached out to pet the animal as Larry had. Immediately this creature- weighing 90 lbs- shot its head towards my hand. In panic I recoiled and the dog made a yipping sound- which rang in my ears for minutes as I contemplated the damage to my hand this dog could effect. "You're scaring her a little bit. She won't hurt you," reminded Larry. Taking a deep breath and reaching out my hand, I slowly contacted the dog's side. Asp-like it again rocketed its head towards my defenseless digits. This time horror froze me and I was helpless. Sheba's tongue briefly lapped at my hand and it became wet with saliva, which can happen if you don't know much about petting dogs. The beast began to enjoy the attention it was receiving and moved its body closer to mine. The dog spittle on my hand, the apparent military length fur of the dog, and the realization this animal is a killer by means of its nature all disoriented me. Images of the destruction the dog was capable of swirled past my eyes. The vision of the dog's tawny muzzle buried in a child's throat filled my mind's eye with fear and repulsion. I wanted to escape. When I retracted my hand, the dog looked up at me and made a low quiet sound. Like a moped or swarm of bees, a low vicious snarl in its throat. Surely the mauling comes next. Its ears were straight up, and its gaze bore on me like a snake hunting a bird. "Sheba's talking to you. She only does that when she really likes people. Speak Sheba, speak!". The unearthly, piercing bark that erupted from the bowels of the beast startled me back to reality. A temporary form of PTSD gripped me for hours after the assault. The dog had not attacked me, no, but it could have. Maybe even wanted to. Its teeth- designed for shredding meat and ripping it from bone- were ever present. As were its claws. Even when the animal is placid, the potential remains. "How fast can she run?", I managed to ask. "Oh, maybe 20 miles an hour for a bit", was the reply. 20 miles per hour. The same speed as a road in a school zone. Teeth designed to kill. A fast, sleek, muscular fiend. The more helpless the prey the better. How many children in a matter of minutes could this animal destroy at "20 mph for a bit"? All it takes is the dog's desire to kill. Or a human to train it to do so. But the beast inside will never be removed from an animal born to kill.

Had my 14 yr old help me with some tree trimming. Had a limb that was getting uncomfortably close to our new roof. 2 story, so it was up there a ways. Took a few slugs & follow up with a few buckshot.
Worked perfect, and nobody got hurt falling off a ladder. |

Guys and gals. I took the Walther PPQ to the range today. All i have to say is outstanding! The gun is easy to sight, fired without a hiccup, the action was smooth and easy to stay on target and the trigger. By far the best trigger of any gun i ever had. So smooth and crisp. Beats my Springfield hands down. Best firearm purchase i made. Would highly recommend.
