Regardless if it's legal or not, I think most would agree that you shouldn't hang out in the left lane.

If it's a surface road, I don't care what lane I'm driving in as long as I'm at least doing the posted speed limit and not breaking a law.
Driving in the right lane is just asking for an accident... someone pulling out in front of you from a parking lot or side street... seen it, don't want it to happen to me. I've seen it happen to a motorcyclist friend of mine too, and that wasn't very pleasant either! Break the laws you want... I'll break the ones I want.

I don't care what most would agree with that wasn't the point of the thread. The point of the thread was for a little humor. Obviously he and I being the only two traveling in that direction he had plenty of room to get to where he was going he just decided to tailgate followed by an overtake.

I concede to the gallery that thinks you weren't being a douche as I have nothing nice left to say.
Hah, okay. |

I'm with OP, he isn't on the Freeway - I mean, people have to turn left, so they be in the left lane kapisch?
I travel freeway in Denver every day, and very often there's some passive aggressive (or maybe just a dumb a$$) dude meandering in the fast lane with nobody in front of him. We have digital signs on the freeway that sometimes read "Be a courteous driver and move over". I've even seen a motorcycle cop meandering on the left lane, I passed him in the #2 lane and gave him the stink eye - I mean come on...you're a cop and you don't know a simple basic rule to get the F out of the way in the fast lane. So yes, I'm with those who find it very annoying when on the freeway, but on the street, sorry, people need to turn left and right.
