I was not referring to any other cars. Looks are always subjective when it comes to vehicles.

the notion that it's just what people have is very juvenile. my first car was a 68' and it was obviously way out of production. i liked all Camaro's. i thought the 4th was too futuristic and the 5th was too retro, but i still liked them .it seems there are a lot of people here that have only owned one Camaro or only liked one.

The 16' SS Hood definately looks better. The newer hoods just look like floor vents in someone home. Sad Chevy could not come up with a more aggressive design.

Love the 16-18 look, that’s why, when I sold my 2017 A8 1SS in 2021, to get into an M6 2SS, I had to find a ridiculously low mileage 2018. I got lucky and ended up finding a special edition as well.
That being said, I specifically like the front fascia and hood and vents on the 16-18, and I like the 16-18 taillights…but I do love the taillights on the 19 plus Camaros too.

Your 2018 is one of the best looking cars ever made. For me, when I decided to start looking at getting a used Camaro in 2021, I had the choice of the refreshed look of the 2020+ or the 16-18. I purchased a 2017 2SS. |

+1 this would be my ''ideal" looking camaro. I will say, in person, the new front end is growing on me.

I also feel like the aggressive lines of the car get complemented REALLY well with the 1le package. The 2020+ needs the 1le package to complete the looks imho where as the 16-18 doesn’t need it as much.

I have had both and I prefer the 2020+, although both are fine, and currently have a 2017
But, I dont care about home link. The rearview mirror is still a mirror, and can be switched to camera, Love the new tailights, And love the exhaust...

Please don't change your avatar, though, that krypton green SS frontend with the stripes looks absolute killer.

16-18 front is the MAIN reason I got 18 over a newer model. I do prefer the taillights of the 19-23 but the hood and front grille are a huge turn off. But its still a CAMARO!!

It's all on personal preference. I personally didn't start paying attention to the 6th gen until riding in a coworkers 18 and realizing how much different it was than a 5th gen. I was never really fond of the 5th gen and the 16-18 just looked too much like 14-15. I didn't think they were that different of a car. When I went shopping for my car I really liked hyper blue but preferred the facelift and 10 speed options, so here I am with a 2020.

I waay prefer the newer quad tail light look. Front end could go either way, depends on color and trim to me.
As mentioned, personal preferences and all |
