I had a little drone with just the LM II on the interstate at about 2000 RPM or below in 6th....

With the headers, not anymore, I guess the added horsepower makes up for it.

Truthfully, the only drone I had was not really drone, but lugging of the engine. This is not a problem for the M6 when your in control.

Nice. Can I ask how much you spent for the entire upgrade?

1799.00 header package, 539.00 exhaust

I got just under 5 years to pay off my Camaro. I wanted performance and sound to make the journey a pleasant one.

Thanks. I checked out the links on you tube. The only one that sounded better than yours was the "kooks full 3" exhaust on 2010 Camaro" at

I think the Camera (mic) position is what made is sound louder. Thanks again.

I like the Kooks, but to each his own, I prefer the non raspy deeper tone.

Do a search on the Kooks full system. Some have been complaining about the harsh drone this system has.

I like the LM ll, for the exhausts, the Loudmouth just alittle loud maybe, and early post saying that the Kooks system Raspy, I add Stainless works systems to the Raspy also, but a matter of what I have heard in vids, and such, PROBABLY need to hear it in person to be any kind of a judge,,(don't even want the job). Like I said to tjbusa.. yours sounds great

These are the easiest headers I have ever installed, the 2010 ss camaro was designed for them it appears. I had 4 tires jack standed 4 inches off the ground and had ample room to do a top notch performance upgrade to the exhaust system. SLP developed their system to fit the application. Motor wise, spark plug wires at the spark plug, oil dip stick, and o2 sensors is all you disconnect when removing the old and replacing the new system. The instructions were straight forward and unlike other header instructions, the steering knuckle does not need to be touched. I did need to give a tap to the middle outer edge of the starter shield for clearance of the right aft cylinder header tube. The headers bolted up don't move, the rest or the system can move till the clamps are tightened to get your exhaust aligned where you want it and mantain at least one fourth inch clearance to the body.

For those on the fence on which headers are worthy of purchace.
SLP uses 1 3/4" headers on their ZO6 package, this is a quote from SLP,

"Best of all, we performed a heads-up test against the self proclaimed "Best 1-7/8" 4-into-1 Long-Tube Header on the Market" and guess what, SLP landed on top with both power and torque, not to mention ease of installation. We guarantee this to be the best Z06 header on the market. SLP's headers are second to none for your 2006-'09 Z06!

http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30126

Now, if its that good for the ZO6, Its good for mine. No way am I saying these are the best headers on the market for the new Camaro, I will say if your not planning on 600 plus horsepower, SLP should be there on the top of the heap with ARH and Kooks (both of which I love and respect). Someone needs to post up a better sounding interior and fly by video or I think SLP has you whoop'd for," Awesome sounding exhaust system."
Peace out, tjbusa

I know this is lame, I just posted this so you will know what 6th gear and interstate speed sounds like. To me.... Its quiet and the engine needs a up shift. I like
5th on the interstate at around 70mph.
