lets get some interest

As the proud owner of (2) 5th gen camaro's (1) 2013 ZL1 & (1) 2013 SS/RS/1LE and soon a 2015 Z06/Z07 order #SBTHHD with TPW of 11-17-14.
With that being said the involvement of everbody on the C5 forum has been nothing short of amazing, questions comments, ideas are a source of endless enjoyment.I'm sure we can do the same.
(1)So i'll start with a question my car is a 7 spd as are both my camaro's (6) spd manual with the 8spd auto not yet available for order are any of you waiting for the auto and why.

(2) who else knows there TPW any other's with 11-17

(3) If enough of us contact are dealers and a certain individual by the name of Harlan Charles and show interest in the engine build experience they may bring it on sooner I have heard from an individual very far up the chain in GM/C7 program his name is earlier in this paragraph that they are just waiting for the engine assembly plant to become a little more comfortable.
(4) This will be my first corvette and can hardly contain my enthusiasm and would love to here from all C7 owners so for now that's all.
kindest regards
Brian knight

Well, this reporter is terrible lol. BUT, here is the answer to your first question.

Personally, there is nothing like the feeling of taking your sports car out (onto your favorite legal roadway ;-) ) and going through the gears manually. But, since the inception of the C6, GM has really gone out of their way to show how much quicker the autos have become. I used to work for GM back when the C6 first came out and they had an event where Mario Andretti come out and test launch VS an M6...he lost every single time. So I settle for the flappy paddles that "Top Gear" loves so much.

I'm waiting for the A8. It will be faster in the 1/4th mile and will still be more car than I can handle on the road course.
