I am still giddy because this car is amazing. I'm afraid the ZL1 will be jealous for a few days so he is in for an oil change, alignment and full detail.

Oh WoW... that's going to be a blast Janet. Perfect Christmas present to yourself...

There's a post over on GM Inside News forums that says rumors are the 6th gen Z/28 will get the LT4. If that's true and there is no 1LE, I will be pretty disappointed.

I have driven a few supercharged cars and a few higher performance naturally aspirated cars and there is something I enjoy more about the N/A cars. I love my 1LE and would love to own a Z/28 but this one is too far out of my reach. I was hoping the next gen would be similar performance wise but I would be in a better position to buy it. I don't know if I would if it is powered by the LT4.

Ugh, if that is indeed the case then there will presumably not be a ZL1, other wise I have no idea what engine it would get. Also, if this is true I really do not like how they are not sticking with a specific identity and bouncing name plates around and going N/A to FI and back, etc. I feel like with the resurrection of the Camaro with the 5th gen. they should stick with the SS being the base V8 model, ZL1 being the supercharged variant with the Z/28 being the N/A track car. Even if the Camaro only gets the LT1 & LT4 you can give the Z/28 the LT1 but with a much more aggressive track set up (brakes, suspension, tire, etc) unless team Camaro is afraid of the the Z/28 being "downgraded" to 1LE status. Heck they don't need to offer a Z/28 again until they feel like they can really do something special. I rather they do that then dilute the name/image, kind of what they did with the Z/28s on the 4th gens..

Just my thoughts..

I'm skeptical of this price but the Camaro fire sale has apparently reached new heights.

I'm leaning toward the Z06. I had a great year and will buy the house in 2015 then look at getting a 2015 Z06 in the fall. I do agree the Z/28 deals are amazing!
