Same here. Everytime I pass a Corvette with removed top I can't stop staring. :eek:

Two choices on the 5th Gen.;

Hardtop or Convertible

That's it

i dont really like 4 seater cars that are convertible. i would much rather have a hard top. i dont htink they will offer t tops or even a sun roof the first year out. like the gto you couldnt get a sunroof in it until the 2nd year they made it. targa top would be pretty sweet. it wouldnt be too hard to do i dont think. the car does have the same kind of hood lines that the vette has and that top on a vette is way lighter than the regular hard top(because its plexiglass or something liekl that). i dont think they would do it with the camaro though. how many 2 door 4 seater cars do you see that are a targa top? i dont think it would look right

Agreed they just look awkward to me. Too long in the rear. We've seen photoshops of Camaros with top down, wonder what it'll look like with the top up.

Cool

I don't think we will see ttops on the 5th gen camaro as it was closer to the 1st gen car which didn't have them. I thought all camaraos from the 2nd to 4th gen had the ttop option? I know i saw a 02 V6 car with them.

Actually, T-tops were not an option on the Camaro until 77 or 78 can’t remember exactly.

From what I gather, it's not going to happen...:( I, for one, love the t tops on my SS. I would have them off all the time if I could....freakin car burglars/theives . Think it's just gonna be the coupe and vert this time around. Yes, I'd take a hardtop vert any day.

While the t-tops looked amazing on the 4th gens, I am not so sure they would look good at all on the 5th gen. I think GMs decision to stick witht he very and coupe was a good one. I am right there with you thoug... I would take a hard-top in a second! I have no problem trading a little performance for the look and feel of a hard-top!

T-Tops are 70s & 80s Technology. There is no place for them on anything made after the original Van Halen broke up IMO
