I used to have a 350z roadster. I'm 6'1" with at 34" inseam. With the seat ALL the way back, touching the back wall, I had just enough leg room, it was just right. But for anyone taller than me it'd be a little tight.

I just bought a high mileage 2012 2SS/RS automatic. 123k miles. But it was a one owner (older female) and the damn thing looks and drives brand new. Very well taken care of car. I buy and sell cars a lot and it's easy to tell when one has been taken care of, and this one has. It's fully loaded with sunroof, etc. Brand new tires ($800-1000 right there)....I gave $15300 for it. NADA clean trade in is $16000, NADA retail is $17900.
Just for grins I did this......if you pull up a 2010 2SS/RS with the same options, with 155k miles (which is what mine may be after 2 years, estimating 15k miles a year), NADA clean trade in is still $12500, NADA retail is $14750. Evan at that, this is an extra weekend car for us, so it probably won't see that many miles. But so far it has because anytime me or my wife go somewhere, we jump in it....because it's awesome! IMO a fully loaded V8 car holds it's value pretty damn well. |

Yeah everyone freaking out is talking about the depreciation on the way to the bottom. However, the bottom will hold steady for a long time. A v8 that looks and run as well as the gen 5 Camaro will likely never dip below $10-12k unless you have crazy miles or an accident report. I say pay it off and then unload. I'm paying 0% interest. I'm going to mod this car, ride it out for another 3 years until its paid off and then make my $10-12k and upgrade. Love it while you got it, no sense worrying about depreciation if youre going to keep in for the term of your loan

I got mine in July 2009.... Now 137,000 miles later, I can't justify spending the money to finally do all the mods I always wanted to do and never did.
Its got some scratches (d@mn dog.... stupid rocks.... and bugs).... and could go for a repaint to make it mint again...... But I can't justify dropping the coin to repaint the car thats only worth 8-10 grand. I dont want to get rid of it, I still love it.... but I wish it was so much more at the same, just don't know about spending money on it.

I had a 07 Sky Redline that was purchased for our kid's first car. With just intake, exhaust and the GM tune, that thing would flat out run. It comes with a coil over suspension and a 3:70 posi rear end. It would actually run with my 10 LS3 SS. Very fun car to drive...

Went to a cruise in on Saturday and a yellow Saturn Sky Turbo was parked right next to me. 2.0L turbo with 260 HP and only 3000 lbs. I want one!

These posts only continue to describe the loss in value for the V6 models over time.
My 2015 SS vert has a current KBB retail of $26k. The same year LT is $19.5k. A 2011 LT is $15k. It’s not fair! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
