Arrow Big Cams for my L99?

I am really wanting a big cam for my l99. I also don't have clue what all I need. I see people with huge lists of things they had to buy, is there anyone that can help me out. Please post videos of idle clips too. Do I need the LS3 conversion or should I go VVT? I don't know the advantages and disadvantages of either? Price? Also, does anyone know the specs of the Night Fury cam?

PS: Drivability isn't a big concern. GBoGH!

Just remember big cams need big converters.

Everyone has an opinion, here's mine. Keep the VVT, upgrade the lifters ( a must), pushrods (good chance the lgth will be wrong), tensioner and trunions, why, because they are known to fail as mine did. lol.

Yes on the converter or driveability will suffer.

Hope your son gets better quick, I've been fighting the flu as well, it sucks.

Oh no. I'd be running a 3200 on a stock cam if I had a L99.

No not a bad thing just a must so you can add the cost of a good convertor to your list .Most should also be acomponied by a lower gear ratio as well .

I don't think it's needed on an L99.

I have GPI VVT SS3, Bo White ported heads. Car has 3200 converter, 3600 would be a better match. Stock gear would be okay but I have a 3.91

Sounds good, Ryan's VVT cams are definitely good performers. I've got a short clip of the GPI VVT SS4, I'll find it and post it as well.

NightFury is a 233/242 113LSA. Available in LS3 conversion or VVT

Let me know if I can help you further.
