i have the gpi ss4 vvt cam spec at 235/249 .631 lift with 112 lsa +3, now going that big of a cam in a stock L99 you have to either change your pistons to clear the valves or fly cut which is what i did. have to go big on converter 4000 or higher to eliminate most of the surging or purges then tweak the tune and converter lock up to cover the rest. my car was 502 to wheel with just full exhaust, 3000 stall, ss4 cam, 3:45 gears, stock heads ported and milled, cai, race scoop, changed the push rods, valve springs, lifters, tune on 93 pump gas. Then i re stalled to 4000 changed gears to 3:91 and first good air for 1/4 mile blew my posi to bits but ran 11.36, my fastest 1/8 is 7.12 and thats with 20's in front and 18's in back
