I've got 20k miles on my car and there is a bit of wear but not much and I'm 6'6 around 270lbs. Like others have said it is all about the technique used getting in/out

My girl is 132 pounds at 5'8".
She doesn't' have a fat ass.
She has never had or wanted kids.
Do I have a tight teenager girl for life?

Hey,, I'm just messing with you guys.
Yes,, with the Ricaro we have is a tight bad ass seat.
My wife is skinny as shit.
She nails both sides of the seat.
The seats in my 1LE 6th Gen Camaro are less wide than my 2012 Grand Sport Corvette seats.

my seats are good at 2k miles but the stearing wheel looks like it has water damage, never have driven it with wet hands or when it was raining.

i noticed it after a 2 month stay in the garage.

They make brushes for Alcantara material. It fixes the mated look

i tried sonax this weekend, results were sub par, may get a better brush and try it again.

big problem was the angle in which you have to apply, ended up applying to towel and rubbing on.

i knew when i bought the car there were a few things i was going to buy and put away for future and the alcantara stuff was on the list

With alcantara less product is more! I too used sonax and thought it worked okay but have since switched to an Adams polishes cockpit brush and i use a very soft microfiber with maybe a shot or two of Adams interior cleaner. Since switching I am having much better results.....I try to as careful as possible with my car so it's humbling when i use a light colored microfiber and can see all the dirt coming out of the wheel.

Aside from some sloppy loser kicking the seat getting in and out, there's absolutely nothing abnormal about the wear on that seat.

I was thinking distressed leather not dirt from kicking.
This car is on the front line of a dealership, I thought they would wipe down the interior a little before showing the car.

I will try to find some better pics as I have come across several with outer seat bolsters looking rather crushed and wrinkled at low mileage.

Well, if you search long enough for something you can pretty much always find it.

Except happiness.

Now think about that.

only wear I have noticed on mine in the almost 1 year and 11k miles of ownership is on the edge of the left side bolster where the two sides are stitched together. There is some rubbing wear on that piece.

You need to come over to my place.
I'll fatten that ass of yours up with some Greek Food.
I'm 5'10".
The last time I saw 155lbs was in the 8th grade.
200lbs now.
5'9" 160 here. I'm rocking a 5th gen 1LE. Got to save weight somewhere.
