Meet Phyxius

Hey guys I haven't set up a build thread but I thought now was the perfect time to write one up.

So with out further ado I would like to introduce you to Phyxius.

(I name all my cars after latin terms, Phyxius in latin means 'Putting the fight")

I picked up the car back in October of 2015 from a Audi dealership.

The car had 20k on it, and it is Ashen Grey 2013 2LT RS.

It was only stock for about two months before I started modding it.
In January of 2016 I needed new tires so what a better time to just get new wheels to go with it. I just so happened to pick up a set of rep ZL1 wheels in 20x10 front et +23 275/40/20 and rear 20x11 et +43 315/35/20 in Pirellis.

Fast forward to the summer 2016 I wanted to switch up the look of the car. I wanted to go for something that wasn't like all the factory V6 camaros out there. I lucked out big time since I wanted to change the front fascia to a ZL1 front end since it looked more aggressive and had all the fog lights I liked.
I was bored one night and hoped on craigslist and just so happened to stumble across a local gentlemen selling a full gem ZL1 front fascia. (hey was going to put it on his SS but upgraded to a C6 Z06 instead). Payed 500 bucks for the whole kit and took it to my guy to get painted.

Now I have the ZL1 front end on and ZL1 wheels, the car is starting to stand alone from the crowd, but I got the modding bug again in August and kept seeing these awesome seats posted on Insta from a guy named @Zuumy so I reached out one night to the company inquiring about sponsorships. Sure enough they responded back wanting me to join the team. After getting all the contract work done I ordered my new Braum Racing seats. I have had them in the car since august of 2016 (before y’all ask I do daily the car and yes they are comfortable on long drives) and I’m still loving them. I picked up the Braum racing Elite series seats black with red stitching. I love how they hug you when whipping it around corners its awesome 100/100 in my book for bang for buck on these seats.

As the months went on I kept adding to her. So when September hit I was tired of not having the stock exhaust. So I reached out to my buddy Alen ( goes by A-Dilla on here with his Camaro zls) and we chatted about different exhaust setups. I went ahead and orders some Jones Bore racing 3” inlet and outlet mufflers for the car. Super happy with how it sounds, how ever I do need a Xpipe cause the drone is kind of rough not gonna lie (at least when in the 80mph range).

Start of the new year meant the start of more parts, in January of 2017 I reached out to my team at Braum and asked to get the Five point harnesses and harness bar. They shipped them out to me ASAP. I went ahead and installed them into the car and man they look great and where pretty easy to install just needed a t50 and socket wrench and it was in place. At the same time I needed new brakes so I figured new year means new slots for Sponorship. I went ahead and reached out to R1 Concepts and they had an open on the team for me and my car to be on. So they got me setup with a set of slotted and drilled Premier series rotors with Hawks pads. Man they stop this car on a dime and I love it!!

So about 7 months go by and I haven’t done anything to the car (major at least) it was August of 2017 and it was time to make the major change, I was so sick and tired of seeing the wheel gap on this car. It looked like a monster truck, luckily my buddy Walt had a suspension setup he wanted to sell and I couldn’t refuse it was to good of a deal to pass up. I went ahead and picked up a Air Lift Performance suspension off of him for the car. I called some buddies and got it all installed after about 14 hours of work. Now we ran all the airlines on the inside of the car and hid everything so it looks clean looking. At the same time to I also picked up a full carbon Fiber Trunk off my buddy that was made by Anderson Composites.

As the car sits right now she has:
ZL1 Wheels
Nitto NT555 G2 275/35/20, 305/35/20
ZL1 bumper
3” Exhaust
Anderson composites duck tail trunk
Air Lift Performance suspension
Braum Racing seats/harnesses/harness bar
R1 Concepts Slotted and Drilled rotors.

There will be plenty more to come so stay tuned as I update the car and everyone on here.
I get many compliments on the car and a lot of people like how clean and simple the design is.

I love everything I have done to the car so far and cant wait to show you guys and gals what else I have in store.

Here are some photos in order over time of the progress of the car from 2015 till Now!!

Enjoy.

Very nice. Love the Braums!

Did you do the resistor for the airbags?

Update 3/28

Picked up a new Anderson Composites Hood and I’m currently waiting on new racing seats from Braum.

I also picked up a set of MRR M716’s in January.

Here’s what she looks like now.
