AWESOME!! 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS | Driven by Automobile (review)

Finally a video review! I almost fell out of my chair when I saw it. From Automobile Mag & a black 2SS manual...the NPP sounds just like the corvette's

Seems like his only negative remarks is it's not a 100% track car. The brakes fade a bit after really getting on it, the seats are too soft, no optional Recaro seats, etc.

Good review, glad to see better footage of the SS in action, look like they drove the heck out of it, cannot wait to start seeing them on the lots!

That is a great video but it worries me about the seats. I have had two lower back surgeries and I really value lumbar support. It is not going to break the deal for me but I hope it has enough support to make me comfortable.

Another review lauded the seats and said they offer plenty of bolstering (support), so ....go sit in them before this review gets you down.

This guy seems to be a track guy that is used to sitting in recaros, my guess is you'll be fine.

I'm in the same boat cwl011, bad back due injury and need some good lumbar support to not end up in pain.

I thought bolstering referred to padding limiting side to side movement, not lumbar adjustments?

Either way, it's something that can be fixed, and wouldn't stop me from buying the car.

Also, I'd play that video in the background just to hear that LT1 sing... damn that was nice.

Cool video.

The driver likes to swing the ass end around a lot......looks great but if your spinning your tires like that on the track your not winning. lol

Seats....meh.....they look good to me.

The weirdest thing I saw was his cramped shifting style.... Seems he was so far forward in his seating position that using the shifter look awkward. ???

Awesome! Could have done with all of the drifting and move driving the car around the track, but love the sounds!

I'll wait for Randy to chime in on the handling.

The seats do look ridiculously flat for a 455hp performance car that can pull 1g on track. I suspect there will be a better seat option for MY 2017.
