Rear Bowtie

Lets see some pics of your rear bowtie. Did you delete the emblem or do a blackout? Anyone running the smoothie from Phastek?

I was thinking of doing a delete or illuminating one. I like the delete look but my wife suggested it looked ugly.

Previous owner put a carbon fiber insert in mine probably from phasetek also. When I removed the bowtie on my 2013 I actually regret doing it. I always used it to shut the trunk so I didn't leave finger prints on the car.

I have messed with photo editing to see what it would look like deleted and i have to agree, something just doesn't look right with the emblem deleted. Looks like a Nissan 240sx rear end or kinda SkylineISH..

Saw a black z with a black emblem and the chrome trim, looked appropriate for the car. I like the idea of a insert or just flat out replacing the emblem with a OEM factory black/chrome trim. But i really like the ALL black smoothie from Phastek too. Just need to see it on a Z (red) to know for sure.

Bowtie should be removed and Z/28 emblem should be moved to the middle IMO.

I feel the most important enhancement for the rear of a beautiful car is a license plate that can blend in. Well done on those Texas cars.

The Chevrolet "Bowtie" is a form of advertising or branding.

I'm thinking of removing the bowtie and in it's place, put my SS emblem there. I wonder how that would look??
