Kids got plenty of time to study history when life slows down a little bit. Then he can pursue the real truth anyway, not that glamour crap they sell in school.

They would no sooner teach about David Koresh than they would Charlie Manson, Bob Matthews, Jim Jones or any other nutcase cult freak.
If you were my ignition, you'd be 180* out. I didn't give him a hard time the first time. He and I are cool. Why don't you ask him?

Instead of saying "hey jackasses, lay off Trewyn" I used carefully chosen, politic words so that nobody would get offended. But there's always one guy that can't read the road sign.

Maybe I choose to ignore the road signs. You can kill a deer with a hatchet, you can kill a deer with a rifle. One way is a little bit nicer but you still killed a deer.

I'm not one of those people you usually come across, I'm not sitting here pondering "what does he mean by that?" I get ya loud and clear buddy.

That's because they can't teach kids about things where the bullshit story changes and hasnt been finalized.

You said to me 'still giving him hard time'. You say that you knew I wasn't doing that at all. Then you say that maybe you choose to ignore the fact, and you understood all along.

That means you're a shit stirrer. F off "buddy", you're an ass

I wasn't talking about current events as in what's currently or recently on TV or in the news. I'm talking about events up to within the last 5 years when most of the kids in high school probably weren't paying attention to the TV or news outside of cartoons.

Most high school history courses barely make it past the civil rights movement, if they're lucky. And even then, the majority of the courses gloss over a LOT of stuff.

When's the last time you heard about a high school history course teaching kids about the Battle of Mogadishu or any of the events leading up to it?

AP does things a little differently (read: better)

I didn't take AP History because I knew I was going into Engineering and had no desire to waste all that extra effort on a class that did nothing for me in college
