First things first, private charter flight to Vegas, set up a Charitable Remainder Trust to put all assets into (no probate so the gov doesn't gets 40% of your stuff when you pass and a Corp to put the CRT into so those assets are protected from lawsuits - in case you ever have a bad day). NV for the Corp due to no state taxes. Could also use Delaware for the same, but with all that money who wouldn't want to go to Vegas?
Buy the closest Chevy dealer to my house and become THE mod friendly dealer. Would sell every Camaro and Vette at cost, just to share the wealth! New Z28 #001 when it comes out, eat your heart out Jay Leno. New big boy Corvette, and lease a few exotics, just for kicks. Of course, that is the first week. Then take care of the family and a trip around the world.

Probably a Huayra or Porsche 918...and a Koenigsegg once they're legal in the US. As much as I love my Camaro and the class it's in with the other brands, exotics are a whole different ballgame, and I'd probably never look back to be honest. I would also immediately purchase a Mercedes S65 AMG and ship it off to BRABUS to have it converted into a Rocket 900.
Oh, and a Viper ACR before they stop production. It's nothing too crazy compared to some of the stuff out there, but there's just something about a car that's just a good old fashioned 8.4L all-engine beast. Last edited by SteelCamaro; 01-04-2016 at 08:35 PM. |

If I won, I'd be scheduling a lot of high performance driver training. Got to be sure that I could keep a Z06, Z28, F-type, or my 2SS on the road and not bouncing off a safer barrier.
The rest of it would be needed to keep the M5 running. :( |

I'd move out into the country an buy enough property to build a Motorsports park with a drag strip and a 2-3 mile road course an a small auto-x in th middle with a nice paddock/pit area. Build a nice club house with tennis courts, spa and a swimming pool for the ladies and somewhere put a go cart track in for the kiddies. I'd have membership that would be set up for the common guy that can't afford 10-20k a year in membership. I would hire local vets for facility up keep and track/safety workers an offer on site housing as a perk, then select a few for a high performance schooling to be onsite mechanics on the weekdays and weekends. Might even let bikes run the course if there's enough interest. I would offer on site storage in a heated/cooled warehouse with cleaning facilities. Also on the grounds there would be DIY garages with quality tools an lifts(can you say snapon). I would have a private garage that would house a Harley for each day of the week, a Z06, Z28, GT500, Hellcat, Viper, and maybe CTS-V wagon all fully modded of course, a proper GMC Denali 3/4-1 ton 4x4 truck and matching trailer fully loaded along with a matching toy hauler motorcycle trailer. Somewhere in a safe place away from the track I would build a indoor heated an cooled range and a covered outdoor range with modern automated targets for various firearm diciplines (long range rifle and skeet) maybe a quasi shooting club. A nice campground would be a option if business is good. I'm pretty sure I'd loose money for a few years but it would be a good write off for taxes on the 420 mil. But before any of that would happen I'd have to build the wife a really nice house an few really cool vehicles of her choice and I think I would quite working LOL!!!!! Be out there on a bulldozer cutting the track...

First thing I would do is buy a 10 or more car garage or building and fill it with lots of American muscle cars

Bring my car to a shop, tell them I want an 8 second F1X car that is street able. Than go buy the best c6z I can get and bring it to the same shop and make it an all motor car, than a house or two, than a koneisegg and a yacht.
Than the next day I'd go buy a lot more toys

First thing I would buy is a financial advisor. That way I have somebody telling me how stupid my P1 and Aventador purchase is. Then I'd hit Barrett Jackson to bid and over pay for some muscles cars and stock my 40x120 Morton building with cool cars.

I've thought a lot about this in the past.
The first step is to aside enough so that no matter what happens, I don't ever ever have to work again. Then help out family members and friends. Then start working on building our dream home. Back to the vehicle acquisitions. In no particular order: Early 70's Volvo P1800ES wagon Late 90's Ducati 916 SPS Singer Porsche 911 I'd probably turn my current 1LE into a ridiculous track / street hybrid (gutted, full cage, built LS7, etc) All season daily driver: VW Golf R Some random pickup truck used for everything else would round out the stable |

Still a shitload of money, but I'm not sure having a million dollar car as a DD is something I'd consider at that rate. |
