I could, but it's only like $180 to buy an OEM plastic spoiler directly from GM, so it'd be cheaper and faster for you that way. (I'd love to have you buy one from me, but that only benefits me, not you.)

Thanks for keeping up with us on this one.

We've had some internal changes that have slowed us down these last few weeks, not to mention the stuff we're doing for SEMA that's got to get out.

Hello everyone. I just purchased a ZL1 rear deck spoiler to change up the rides look after 6 years. Thanks to Siper for the TSB info. I am going to check the dealer tomorrow about the paint chipping I found. I really like the way forum members support each other with
shared experiences and info. Guess I will have to order the extension loom for the third brake lite also.

I have my zl1 spoiler but I can't seem to find how to wire the spoilers wiring to the plug n play harness bought from gen5 diy

I can't find where I saw comments about changing the trunk struts, but did anyone have trouble with the added weight on cars non equipped with spoilers?

Do ZL1 have different trunk struts?

I installed a Z28 fiberglass spoiler on my SS the trunk doesn’t pop like it used to but it does go up easy and stays.

I just put the ZL1 spoiler on mine, and the added weight definitely changed it when closing, I have to slowly ease it down or it slams.
