Thanks, guys. Lucky doesn't know about the RWD Chevy Malibu we kept (and occasionally modified) for 33 years and must be mistaking me for the run-of-the-mill Mustang fanboys he does know. Guilt by association, I guess, but nothing I'll ever get upset over.

I've got a $100 bill in my pocket that says she still wouldn't scream. We're talking about a girl who's still not afraid to use WOT or take a corner at speed herself (and knows enough to know that - in her words - "you need to know your car"). Evidently she trusts me to know ours.

But since you mentioned 'Mustang site'. in this day and age of memes, isn't a Mustang by definition a scarier place just to be in, and screaming more likely rather than less?

I can so picture this, I can almost hear her voice now . . . (on edit) still chuckling.

The flip side - or maybe it's the key - seems to be that the smoother you get, the harder the driving you can get away with.

Norm is a big boy, you pansies. I'm sure he can take a joke once in a while and has built some thick skin over the years. Back off the newbies, its not like he insulted him in a way that he can't come back with something just as good. Breathe people... breathe

I'm glad I can be such a great example

Pansies are a type of flower, so yea, I was calling you all a bunch of flowers... I could stoop lower and maybe call you all a bunch of fairies

Also, I talk like I type, so if you meet me in person... well, you'll be disappointed I don't act any different.

In PA, switching lanes inside of a tunnel will get you a steep ticket right quick.

Funny? Perhaps.

But it's still good to know that people have your back under conditions where it might be least expected.

Now if we can get past this, do we have any more screamers? Or non-screamers?

Norm

My girlfriend (now my wife) screamed back in the day, riding in my '69 RoadRunner...
Now we're both a little more seasoned, so there's no more screaming. All I have to say now is "Are you ready", before I hit the throttle :-)
So far, she's always replied with "Hit it!"
