Has it occurred to you that there are US taxpayers out here in Europe?

Wow, where do some people dream up this drivel????
Really?
Another Obama/Government Motors conspiracy theorist!

Great video - Look, I have my fully equipped Vert on order at $1,000 below MSRP, and I likely shall get delivery in 2014 about the same time I retire on a plus six figure income at two waterfront properties one of which is in Puerto Rico, and so life is good - but not so good is the poor US taxpayer who bailed out GM and is on a waiting list for the opportunity just to order a C7 while some wimpy European is driving one who probably disses US for standing up for the things in which we believe, like freedom, privacy, and the right to bear arms.

Why is it that you feel so compelled to attempt to impress others with your alleged status (as you have done on other Corvette boards) when you share your opinion? It has been suggested more than once that you just share your opinion and let others judge it on its merits.

I agree with this video, I don't think we will ever see our C7s, mine is 170 and I guess thats just a fairy tail. They will ship all of them to Europe, hopefully I can exchange for a Volt.

Who started this thread, what a Doofus.

Newly confirmed that Chevy still plans to diss US taxpayers (who bailed it out) and Corvette loyalists (where the loyality and love is not reciprocal) French-kissing Euoropeans with C7s while some in the US are on a wait list just to order one - http://www.autoevolution.com/news/fr...tos-66761.html

What are you smoking and how can I get some?

Clearly pre-order US buyers are on the cusp of getting their Stingrays. I suspect the loaded with Stingrays car haulers are leaving Bowling Green even as I type. Your article refers to a car show where a fall European delivery is predicted.

Now there may be some US pre-orders unbuilt when Europe receives its first allocations, BUT that will be a result of the buyers choice as clearly the half dozen largest Corvette dealers have unspoken allocations that will be produced in early October.

I know I am feeding the troll but I am of the opinion a little light on the subject will help contribute to understanding not that Richardlord will understand since he has a proven record in this thread of not being able to but because placing all this in the context of real life might help a casual reader of this thread understand.

Richard, why don't you try to turn this around!

Be proud that you personally had an investment in an American car Co., that resulted in the creation of the most awesome sports car EVER!

A car that was built in America, that hopefully will ship all over the world!

Anybody that is waiting for a car had plenty of chances to do that. If they chose a dealer that had to few allocations that's their fault for choosing that dealer. If they haven't put money down yet that's their doing as well. It's not easy to get an early release of a new car, especially where there is so much interest as in this car.

Please find something worth all the hate you are expressing here, and go buy a FORD.

Great that GM shall have a market in in Europe for C7s, but first things first, namely US.

I am sure GM makes decisions on who they will sell a car to all the time. something over 1000 cars have been made. How many are going out of the country? 10? 20? That's nothing in the overall picture. Is that 1 hour of production?

Why should GM or anyone not sell them a car just because they don't like where they live? Whats next? Too many cars are going to California, so stop selling cars to California?

Another point...I really doubt that the US Gov't would get involved in directing GM where or when they can sell a car.
