Gabbott, my infotainment screen was replaced. The vent rattle could not be detected upon driving by the service manager. So, no fix although I heard it on the way home. I have a small cloth stuffed in the far right vent to make sure of the source. I'll take the car in and take the service manager for a ride some day down the line. Otherwise, what an awesome machine!

Hi have a clicking/ticking sound, its mostly when I go over bumps, 2014 just appeared recently, I have the audio so the experts here can weigh in, I'm sure when one of you hear it you will tell me what it is.

My dealer in NJ is very inept need to tell them exactly what to do so will need your help. Is it likely the vent grille? It sounds like its coming from the center dash around the info system, slightly above it

PLEASE HELP ME

When it rattles, "exercise" your vent (flip it up down and right to left, as quickly as you can, several times) and see if it goes away. There is a lot of plastic in the C7, and sometimes these noises will go away on their own as the car breaks in and parts loosen. The above "fix" worked for me when my vent rattled, and saved me a trip to the dealer.
