Wireless CarpPlay?
I was wondering if it was possible to get wireless apple carplay on my 2018 1LT. Getting sick of having to plug in my phone every time I drive. I do NOT have the technology package

Have to use Bluetooth connection if you want wireless. Carplay and Android Auto require a faster/more reliable connection than Bluetooth so it has to be plugged in to USB.

Incorrect. There is a such thing as wireless CarPlay which works over Bluetooth. It has been available since iOS 9 but only few manufacturers, namely BMW (including Mini) and Mercedes, offer it. Alpine offers an aftermarket unit that does wireless CarPlay but that’s a nonstarter in our cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
