If we can get Diamond to agree to make changes to the CR for the final set, I'm pretty sure I've got a buyer that'll be interested. ...but it doesn't sound like that's an option.

Also, first time I've posted on c5 in like 6 months, woohoo!

Jason, I am ready to rock. When you get the final number committed to the group buy, you can send me a copy of the invoice, like last time, and I'll pay it.... Thank you, drive through...

To my knowledge 4 are committed with a few interested parties. Not sure if Jason wants to get everyone together this weekend (roll call) and send the invoices out on Monday and collect payment Monday.

I need to send an email to the email guy and see if he's still on board. Would be nice to get that one last guy on board to get the max discount?

I agree. I am about to go hungry for the next two months so it would be nice; however, camaro fest is around the corner and this group buy has been advertised now on this forum and the facebook page. Ill comment on it later today to see if anyone that was interested wants to commit.

Missing out on a few meals is a small price to pay for horsepower. Plus; the weight loss from going hungry should cut your quarter mile time... win/win.

Already at the perfect racing weight for running; 6ft tall 154lbs at 5% body fat. Losing weight would negatively impact my running performance and Inferno is very light now, probably one of the lightest 5th gen camaro's driven on the street. Another 100lbs already planned to be taken off asap Only thing is I wish I knew the weights of the BMR parts, did not weigh them before installing haha and I have the shipping weights so that would just give me an estimate.

5% body fat!? I didn't even know a human being could maintain that percentage. You must be a finely tuned athlete. Your car is gonna be an orange laser beam with all that weight you've cut from it.

Not for long, only doing competition season and peaking for a specific race. Ill walk around usually 7-8%. Same with most athletes and fitness models.

I have been meaning to do it; however, most truck scales will not weigh private vehicles. I do have a very rough idea;

Weight Reduction: Weight (lbs)
FX1 Pro Racing Seats w/brackets -65.0 (17.5lbs each)
Spare Tire w/Wrench Set -50.0
Rear Seats & Seat Belt Bar -45.0
Rear Seat Belts -3.6
Front Seat Belts -6.0
Floor Mats (front Pair) -4.8
Windshield Washer Reservoir & Lines -12.0
Carbon Fiber Hood -8.0
Factory Reproduction Style 41 ZL Wheels -32.0
Splash Guards -8.0
3" Stainless Steel Exhaust -50.0
Deleted Battery Terminal Bracket -2.0
A/C Lines & Ducting -7.6
A/C Compressor -13.2
A/C Condensor -6.4
Open 2.92 Differential -56.0
Total -369.6

Weight Added: Weight (lbs)
GTX2863R 8.0 (4.0lbs each)
HKS Blowoff Valve 1.5
Cipher Harness Bar 25.0
SS Brembo Four-piston fixed Brembo calipers 10.0
BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop 6.8
B&M SuperCooler Transmission Cooler 5.2
3.27 LSD 90.0
Total +137.0

Stock Curb Weight 3769.0
Current Weight 3536.4
Race Weight (1/4 tank) 3446.0

1 gallon gasoline = 6.183 lbs Weight (lbs)
19.5 gallon tank 120.56
Full tank 120.56
1/2 tank 60.28 -60.28
1/4 tank 30.14 -90.42

I do not have the weights for the following items;
OEM Coilovers vs Lingenfelter Supercar Drag Coilovers
OEM Lower Control Arms (6 lbs each - 12 lbs total) vs BMR Lower Control Arms
OEM Toe Rods (2.0 lbs each - 4 lbs total) vs BMR Toe Rods
OEM Trailing Arms (2.8 lbs each - 5.6 lbs total) vs BMR Trailing Arms
OEM Front Sway Bay vs BMR Front Sway Bar
OEM Rear Sway Bar vs BMR Extreme Anti-Roll Kit
Garret GTX2863R's and wastegates

BCS light weight crash bars will drop another 40lbs, not sure how much the power steering cooler weighs and finish stripping the interior (door panels, getting custom door handles made and panels to cover the crumble zones) should drop close to 100 lbs. Then cut off the metal tub, mount a 19lb light weight battery in the trunk, do a 15" conversion, could see another 80-100lbs there. Then I need to add some safety features so that will bring the weight back up (cage, fire suppression, drag chute). The interior is just about stipped; however, the individual trims pieces I have not weighed so I would estimate another 10lbs removed there and then all the sound proofing also removed.

Update: based on http://www.hurricaneperformance.ca/p...bearing-turbo/ they state the weight for the GTX2863R as 4lbs.

The shipping weight on http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...de=GRT-TBO-186 states 12lbs.

I guess ill update and add 8lbs.
