Eventually you will get to the point where the torque exceeds what traction there is and larger gears (smaller number) work better.

I'll shoot you a PM on the v6 Facebook page I have some questions regarding the gears

Secondary fuel system based on Gretchen's system, the nozzles are straight flow that point to the intake valves.

Looks great! The reason behind this is due to what exactly though? I thought you had the ZL1 fuel pump as well?

even with the ZL1 pump. he is losing pressure at high RPM, the ZL1 pump supplys more fuel to the DI system, but hard for the HPFP to deliver needed fuel at high RPM/HP levels. Supplemental fuel will allow much greater tuning flexability

Pretty much what Sycraft said, the ZL1 pump does help with this though since I'm not losing low side pressure. I'm spraying too much water and causing some power loss since it can't burn (but cools 6x the same fuel could).

Ah I get it now so while the ZL1 fuel pump supplies more fuel. Because of the high pressure needed for DI engines this trick essentially is a way to provide more fuel at higher RPMs because there is no solution for increasing pressure with the HPFP yet?

Yeah, at higher RPM the amount of fuel required grows fast, my high pressure fuel rail decreases at 6700 RPM. The lower the fuel pressure the longer the fuel injectors have to stay open to supply the same fuel. With this I can pull fuel from the main injectors to keep the pressure high.

Great info man, thanks! At around what boost level did you notice this happening? Also curious as how much a shop might charge to do something like this?

you could not afford ( at least I couldn't) a shop to do what he has done, easily 200 plus hours at 100 / hr. You have to be a true enthusiast to go down his road..

The fuel pressure starts dropping at 11 psi, 12 if you have a ZL1 pump.

It was about $450 in materials, 6-8 hours of labor while I was watching football.

Ordered a 10 rib 7" crank pulley with a 3.33" supercharger pulley. That will put me around the same impeller speed of a 2.8" pulley on the stock crank. I'miss getting closer to completing my setup.

just curious how are you doing the 10 rib are you changing out all the pulleys(alternator, tensioner, Power steering) cause i though you said you were not doing the jack shaft anymore any ways it looks awesome really coming along

im going a different route for the 7th inj im basing of the LNF ZZP kit, using an actual fuel injector and fuel rail well see how that works

Doing the jackshaft setup since the super damper is large. This will also let me get things prepped for a cog setup.
