Buy what makes you smile when you look at it. Both can be made to go silly fast. I was going to buy a 2010 Z06 and my wife was like, you know you like the look of the Camaro more, and its fast, buy that. Sometimes you just gotta go simple, buy what makes you smile.

Choices, Choices
People change, times change, cars change. In the past 35 years I've owned 6 Corvettes and enjoyed all of them. I was just about to buy another one until I saw a 2010 Camaro being unloaded from a transport truck. Something clicked and I bought a 2010 2SS. Now I have an addition with a 2011 2SS that I received on July 2nd. It will come to you and the decision you make will be right either way. I think Chevy is making cars that people want now! Good Luck!

I have a 99 C5 and a 2010 2LT/RS. I am happy that I have both to select from; however, if I ever have to choose just one; I will choose the Corvette. The reasons are many; acceleration, torque, handling, ride and gas milage. My C5 wins hands down.
With regard to styling and uniquness. I acquired my Camaro last May and spent the summer showing it off at shows. More often than not, it was the only 2010 Camaro at the show and got lots of looks and compliments. It was a lot of fun to have such a unique car; this year I am rarely the only 2010 Camaro at even the small cruise ins. I often show both the C5 and Camaro side by side at local car shows and the crowd seems about split on which they like best. I will admit that I like the styling of the Camaro best and it has placed at a couple of the shows while the Corvette never has. Ther is no doubt Chevy got it right with the 2010 Camaro. I have always been a fan of both the Corvette and the Camaro. I hope that someday you will be fortunate and blessed enough to be able to have both, but until then I think you will find the Corvette especially the GS, a more satisfying expeirence overall; unless you need a back seat. Good Luck and enjoy which ever you select. |

This is an easy one...
Buy the Grand Sport. When the Z28's come out, buy a Z28 and keep the Grand Sport. I have a Z06, and just bought a 2011 Camaro. Right now, I like driving the Camaro better, but I am sure I will come to my senses. |

Now if you put the 556hp CTSV engine in a 4000lb Camaro. (current weight is 3800lbs.) The power to weight ratio is a lot better for the Camaro. If the Camaros HP comes in at 575HP or more...obviously the advantage grows. Expect to see 2012 Z28s in the 11's in the 1/4. But having said all that. I think the GS is a nice car. I hope you enjoy it. I personally would wait for the Z/28. Unless of course you can get both.

I too have both, but there is no comparison. The Camaro is fun. The Z06 is a beast!

Yep. Then you'd be approaching Zr1 territory.
