What is the expected time to go from 3800 (produced) to 4200 (shipped)?

I know that all cases are different but mine went from 3800 to the dealer lot in two weeks.

For the first several weeks after the start of production: there is no known coherent answer. This applies to Chevrolet not just to Corvette.

I believe your question is how long does it take to go from built (3800) to dealer delivered (5000) and once production is stable, it takes a minimum of two days to leave the staging area after it goes to 4200. 4200 is when Chevy gives control to the shipping company, ie: without moving an inch the build has been "shipped" to that company. It may take longer than two days to actually leave BG because truck haulers need to be carrying their full complement of eleven Stingrays before going. (There are exceptions, as many have noticed there is nothing about the ordering process that does not have an exception.)

Indeed, you can be at 4200 and still be in QC, so Chevy does not actually give up control in the total sense of the word.

I ordered in mid-April. Went to 1100 on May 17. Sat at 3000 until Sept. 11 when I went to 3300. Today I went back to 3000. All blamed on the carbon fiber roof. Unless my wife gets me to cool off, I am about a 2 hour ride to Atlanta from buying a 911.

Well....I'm still at 3400, but today was given the vin# 1G1YK2D73E5103139......and I haven't seen any cars in the 2000 range yet, so it looks like I still have a long wait- ordered it June 5th....Laborsmith any guess on when Ill see it?
