2017 ZL1 vs. 2017 Porsche 911R
Well it appears the ZL1 will have a faster 0-60 time. The 911R is damn cool with a 6 speed manual if you could find one. The 2016 911R MSRP was $185k+. The 2017 is over $200k. I am seeing rumors the 911R is selling for way over sticker used. This is why I will order a ZL1 and save the rest of the money. Thanks Chev for being real.

You couldn't buy a new 911R even if you didn't mind the price. They are all sold out. A used one would most likely cost MORE because you can't buy a new one.
997 GT3 RS's sell for way more than MSRP and they've been out of production for a few years now. All that said, the ZL1 is amazing for the price. A true giant killer.

There's a used 911R at my dealer. They want $1,000,000 for it. So, yeah.

The 911R is not about the numbers. Its all about the driving experience. Motor Trend's review explains this pretty well. Assuming the Z/28 will be a stripped track car, that would be a much more like the 911R.

Even a regular rich guy couldn't buy the 911R. You had to own a 918 Spyder or have bought millions of dollars worth of new Porsches.

911R is not my cup of tea. I like it, but it would have to be about my 20th car if I were mega rich.

Motor Trend is going to put out a new Head2Head with the 911R vs. the C7 GS. Can't wait to see it!! But, it may provide the OP with some more insight into the 911R.

Yeah even if you could get a 911R I think the C7 GS would give it a huge run for it's money.
