Dealer instructions

Ok sounds like things are moving along hoping for a delivery 25th or 26th. I have already told the dealer not to put any dealer badges on the car and to leave all paperwork that comes with the car in the glovebox. Also told him not to put on the front license plate holder on. (My Camaro they put it on crooked). And no crappy gas..anything else I need to let them know b4 it comes in this is my first vette. What is the other front bracket called everyone says they are using for the front lp mount

Congrats on your first vette!

Where are you getting it?

Hopefully they fill your tank with good gas and put no crappy stuff on your car.

I never have to tell my dealership that stuff.

When I order my cars and they come in, no one is allowed to touch them but my buddy who is their fleet manager and does all their ordering.

My cars are all handwashed, waxed, no front plate, and filled with 93 octane.

Then they're parked inside in a service stall at the very back of the service department until I can come down and pick it up. When I'm ready, I call and they move it the delivery bay.

If it rains, which it has on several occasions, I can leave it in there for as long as I want. A few of my cars have sat in there for 3 or 4 days cuz of weather.

My dealership is decond to none!

Congrats Overtime.

The alternative front bracket is the front aero panel. It will come with your car, but you have to bend your plate to fit and you have to take it off when tracking. However, as your plates won't come in for weeks, you have time to figure out what you want to do with your front plate.

My dealer up the street in Dallas, gave me the option of coming down once it came off the truck. When it comes off the truck it will be wrapped in this white cloth-like covering. He gave me the option of unwrapping it myself and then I could specify/watch whatever you want done or not done to it. I think technically you're not supposed to be in the service bay, but hey, it's a Stingray.

You could ask your dealer for the same service, and then you can tell him everything you want done/not done (e.g, why don't we go fill it up together (then you'll know you're getting the premium gas...Hey why didn't you wax it? etc.)

Congrats again!

Congrats on your new Stingray. You seem to have covered all the bases.
I was able to give my Stingray its first fill up. The dealer doesn't have their own gas so they take the cars up the road for the first fill up. When I picked the car up it had not been fueled yet so I drove it to the gas station and pumped my own gas, premium gas!

I really don't believe a Corvette dealer would put anything other than premium in a vette. Especially since they will be the one's trying to figure out why it's knocking.

Does the Aero Panel come on all models or just 3LT?
Does the other front plate mount require holes on the front facia panel?
I it worth having dealer save the shipping cover?

The aero panel comes with all Stingrays, regardless of trim level. Neither it or the license bracket require drilling holes. Both use plastic screw tabs that lock into the slots in the grill. Both a pretty easy to remove for track days or shows.

As for the cover, the vast majority will have no use for it. Probably only those who are adamant about having every little scrap of paper that came in the car for possible future value will see any need to keep it.
