zeta body sharing
we all know that gm/holden are using the the zeta body/frame for a lot of upcoming vehicles, and for some that have already been released.
i was thinkin about this when reading the "Z-body or F-body" thread. and it reminded me of how you could change the body panels of f-bodies to other ones, such as a trans am front clip on a camaro or vice versa and the ls1 front clip conversion on the lt1 camaros. mainly what im thinkin is depending on the rest of the structure, how likely do you think it might be for someone down the road to swap say, a G8's front clip with that of the camaro? i would imagine the body lines wont match up directly, but does anyone else see this happening?

I think the new platforms that GM is making are supposed to be more versatile than that, Zeta in particular. As a result I don't think the bodies will bolt on to each other as well as with cars from the past. But any two pieces of steel can be fit together if you have a hammer and a welder.
