Just so you know, there is no such thing as a 1LE strut bar. That is just the standard strut bar that used to only come on the convertable and now comes on the 1LE as well.

40 Horsepower?...you do understand that the 400 horsepower for the L99 is at the crank. My crank horsepower is now around 531 give or take a few.

My husband and I changed the passenger side window sweep. The original window sweep had a slit in it...how or why who knows? But my husband saved the day because I was able to get the damaged one off, but had trouble installing the new one.

He was referring to your rear wheel hp , that your having only 40 ish more horse to the wheels then just his cat back, tune, and intake and you have a supercharger!!!
Your numbers are low bro ...531 to the crank is low, plain and simple... you should be somewhere in the 575 range to the crank or at bare bones minimum 550 ish ...

Re SSRS55

Ok, one last chance to try to explain this. The Magnuson MP2300 TVS Supercharger claims to

"deliver power gains of approximately 120 horsepower and 120 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels @ 6 psi."

So I guess the question is that what is the stock RWHP of the L99. Most of what I read is that there is anywhere between a 15 and 20 percent loss in horsepower with an automatic transmission. So, lets see what those values are.

15% = 340
16% = 336
17% = 332
18% = 328
19% = 324
20% = 320

Let's take the average of those numbers and use 330 as our RWHP number for the L99.

Magnuson already stated that the "This kit delivers power gains of approximately 120 horsepower and 120 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels @ 6 psi." so I should be expecting a total RWHP of

330 + 120 = 450

My Dyno read 441.2 at 6089 RPM and 506 Ft Pounds of Torque at 3107 RPM.

So my Crank Horsepower can be estimated also

15% = 518
16% = 525
17% = 531
18% = 537
19% = 544
20% = 551

For an average of 534

I think most people overestimate their horsepower and I do not think that a Tune, CAI and Cat Back is going to gain 73 horsepower, but I could be wrong.

From Jannetty Racing...

If you car is all Stock about the same 5-10 RWHP Truthfully everyone seems to advertise higher than that, it is all marketing.
