After a week of awful waiting, I picked up the 'new' ride this weekend. Drove it all over, just enjoying it...weather was great (at least Friday afternoon, and Saturday).

A few notes: the gas mileage sucks hard. It's loud as hell. Visibility isn't great, but workable. Wanna know what, though? I couldn't give a damn about any of those things. This is just an absolute joy to drive.

Anyhow...it was suggested to post a few pics, so here they are!

For now, I have nothing planned except to hardwire the Escort 9500ix that we picked up. Still reading on best way to do that, but looks like invisicord is the way to go...Outside of that, I'm going to enjoy the crap out of this thing for a while.

Only downside about it at this point - my face is getting sore. I've had a stupid grin pasted from ear to ear all weekend. LOVE IT!

Congrats!

Gas mileage isn't bad, remember you're not driving a Prius. I don't worry about it anyway, didn't buy this car for it lol.

Oh no my yard looks great. 7 years ago i shut off the sprinklers and stopped feeding it and mowing it. 4 weeks after wife asked WTF is up with the lawn. I told her I am done doing it not working hard to make more work for myself. She did it for a year then decided we could afford to hire a landscaper. I WON!

heh! Yeah, I've kinda let the yard go for a bit...luckily we live at the end of a cul-de-sac and it's not that noticeable from a distance. Yard guys should start coming around next week, though. It's in dire need of some attention...

Well, it's sure not great (12.7 after my first 2 fill-ups) but that's to be expected, I guess...it's a big ass motor, and I wasn't exactly driving like grandma all weekend

But yes, if I wanted good mileage, I sure wouldn't have bought this beast
