Photos from my trip to the Bowling Green Plant

While the plant tours are not yet available, we were able to spend time in the employee Corvette lot. As most know, specific employees at the assembly plant have C7's to use and "debug" if needed. We talked to the executive assistant to the Assembly Plant manager and one of the "test" drivers and took some pictures on a bright blue day.

One employee we talked with drove a Z06 home at night and a C7 during the day. He said the Z06 was a "Beast," but he loved it. He said his C7 had tamed the beast, but it was always there when you wanted it and more.

Did you see any Night Race Blue C7s. Have seen very few Coupes in that color during daylight.

I saw one yesterday at Laguna Seca and it was stunning in the bright sunlight. Great depth to the color and metalflake. However any part not in full sun looked black

Yeah this is the only thing I don't like about the blue.

We saw the Night Race Blue car, but it was pulling out of the employee lot as we drove in and didn't get a photo. It is interesting that the Cyber Gray Metallic actually has clearly visible light blue pigment in the paint so it has a bluish cast in full sun.

By the way, if you look at dash on the Lime Rock Green C7 with Kalahari interior in LT3 trim, it is the only LT3 trim we saw that had a full leather dash. I'm not sure what the order code is for this or if it is available in any color other than Kalahari.

Sweet pics....thanks! Any pics of the vette in crystal red metallic? I can see if just off frame when you took the pic of the red C7. I have yet to see a CRM from different angles and in various settings....sun, clouds, etc. That's my color of choice...
