Overheard in the hidden mods thread that it will be in Vegas, Bowling Green, Memphis, Texas, Indianapolis, and an undisclosed airfield. Fest 6! In 6 places at one time!

SO CAL!!!
There is a kick arse road course that is currently featured on the front page, complete with video so everyone can see exactly what to expect. They have just re-opened up the drag strip and they know how to keep the track prep'd. They have a huge area for auto-x that Comm51/Comm17 (The Racing Byrds) have contacts with to get a course set up. There are more hotels in the area than you can shake a stick at, lots of resturaunts, bars, malls, etc. Getting another company involved with setting up the HPDE like Modbargins (sponsor here) or Speed Ventures shouldn't be too tricky. LA Invasion could be another group to contact about getting more exposure for the event where they hosted a huge GM only race event up until the drag strip was closed. Where it is re-opened, I'm sure they would be willing to work with people that have actual experiance with larger events like this. There are also sponsors here like Ryne@CMS, Mike Haddad, Hotchiks Suspension, BBK and others that would likely be able to help sponsor or get the mods in touch with others that they have worked with in the past to sponsor the event. California is not a "mod friendly" state, but we seem to do ok when it comes to that department. Come to the left coast.......You know you want too!

I think Vegas would be cool. However, I also think it will be a Hudge distraction for a lot of people taking away from actual fest events. Just saying

I feel the same way. if it were in vegas, I and I'm sure alot of other people would be out on the town instead of socializing with other camaro people and the vendors.
also I bet the hotel rooms would go for a pretty penny too, even at a possible discount for the fest. I'm all for Memphis! and if not Memphis, then bowling green
