Tony Kanaan's Stingray Delivered
The winner of this years Indianapolis 500 was Tony Kanaan, his prize along with the cash is a 2014 C7 Stingray, it was delivered yesterday to Bill Estes Chevrolet in Indianapolis
The truck was loaded with all C7's and this was the only one dropped off to this dealership so at least one truck load of C7's have made it passed Indiana. I have pictures however can't seem to get them to view correctly, I will try to figure it out and post them. Last edited by SilverRay; 09-24-2013 at 10:05 PM. |

With the exception of the wheels, this appears to be exactly the car I ordered. I put my deposit down more than a year ago, I put my order in on the first day, yet I don't know when my car is going to be built.
Do some customers get special treatment and go to the head of the line? Last edited by New C7; 09-28-2013 at 09:02 PM. |

At least one customer did but it cost him over a million dollars. In addition the Museum got the second one. Allocation is likely the problem. A dealer with 500 will get some of the 500 built before a dealer with 5 gets their second one built. Chevy distributes allocations in a way that can withstand court suits and does so because of court suits. Although the Honda case got the most publicity, Chevy itself has had similar actions.
